Inspired by pyrite often known as "fool's gold", the Pyrite Cabinet celebrates the unexpected beauty found within the mineral world. Francesco Maria Messina reinterprets the distinctive cuboid crystal formations of pyrite through an assembly of geometric storage volumes that appear to have grown organically from stone. The result is a piece that feels at once natural and architectural, as though a mineral formation has been transformed into a functional object.
