Saerom Yoon

Saerom Yoon is a Seoul based South Korean designer and artist whose sculptural furniture in dyed acrylic resin captures the fleeting colors and emotions of nature.

Yoon’s practice begins with memory. His earliest images come from time spent as a child in the Philippines, where sunsets on a small island, sea breezes and tropical light left a lasting imprint. These sensations became the foundation for his work, leading him to search for a material that could hold light, depth and atmosphere inside a solid object.

Through acrylic resin, carefully dyed and cast, he builds straight lined structures and gradient planes that feel at once minimal and emotive.
