Mexican architect and designer Adrian Cruz creates collectible resin and onyx pieces that explore memory, light and cultural identity through refined sculptural forms.

Cruz’s creative journey began with the resin artworks made by his grandfather Chema, a pioneer of the material in 1940s Mexico City. As a child, he played with these translucent objects, captivated by the way light moved through them. After years of architectural study in Florence, these memories resurfaced, prompting him to explore resin as a medium to express his roots, his culture and his vision.

Working with crystal resin, onyx and marble, Cruz develops objects defined by clarity, geometry and material depth. His lighting pieces balance sculptural purity with vivid color, reflecting both Renaissance architectural forms and the chromatic richness of Mexican folklore. Each work blurs the line between functional design and contemporary collectible art, shaped with meticulous craftsmanship and emotional resonance.
