Amber Blush Gradient Crystal | Sculpture I

Saerom Yoon is a South Korean furniture designer and artist based in Seoul, born in 1985, whose work explores the relationship between nature, memory and light. Marked by childhood years spent in the Philippines, he transforms his memories of green mountains, emerald seas and glowing sunsets into gradient resin pieces that feel like watercolor paintings in three dimensional form.

Working primarily with dyed acrylic, he develops layered and transparent surfaces that evoke the sky, clouds and water at specific moments of the day. His furniture and sculptural works blur the line between functional design and art, inviting viewers to experience color as atmosphere rather than ornament.

A graduate of Hongik University in furniture design, he discovered his path during military service and chose to focus fully on furniture as his medium. International recognition followed with series such as Crystal Series and A Piece of One Day, including geometric resin works inspired by the Seoul sunset, and custom pieces for Louis Vuitton stores worldwide. Today his creations are sought after by private collectors and galleries, positioning him as a key figure in contemporary collectible design from Asia.
