Bogdan Kryvosheya

Bogdan Kryvosheya is a Kyiv-based creative director, curator and producer. After studying Business Management at Queen Mary University of London, he returned to Kyiv in 2015 and co-founded THP, a promo group behind the city's music scene. Working as a DJ and organizer led him toward set design, and in 2017 that practice became production in its own right with the founding of studios 22F and GORN. In 2022, he launched K19, a gallery reformatted into an online platform and art agency after the full-scale invasion disrupted its physical opening. He now runs exhibitions under GORN and K19, and object production under 22F, spanning furniture, art objects and decor.

Bogdan Kryvosheya

22F is a Kyiv-based production studio led by creative director Bogdan Kryvosheya, treating raw and overlooked materials as legitimate subjects for collectible design.

Bogdan Kryvosheya's path into object design began elsewhere: as a DJ and event organizer, co-founder of the promo group THP behind Kyiv's Sunday series Social Spot. Working exclusively with vinyl, he came to a realization that would define his later practice, that an event is shaped as much by the space around it as by what happens within it.

That insight led him toward set design, first in service of events, later as an independent discipline. In 2017, those collaborations became production in their own right, with the founding of 22F alongside partners.

22F operates as a full-cycle studio in Kyiv, handling design, fabrication and brand installations through to finished, limited objects. The studio has since worked across interior and exterior pieces, furniture, art objects and decor, engineering and building work developed in collaboration with outside designers, including the Speaker Chair series with Studio S.B.

Kryvosheya runs 22F alongside two related directions, GORN and K19, an exhibition and cultural agency reformatted from a planned physical gallery space after the full-scale invasion disrupted its opening in 2022.

Material left raw, simplicity favored over gesture.

More than a production studio, 22F engineers ideas born elsewhere into finished, physical form. Its practice sits at the intersection of fabrication and authorship, giving shape to work developed with designers across borders while maintaining its own material language, industrial origin left visible, function folded into sculpture rather than announced by it.

Produced in limited runs and built through hands-on collaboration, 22F's work reflects a distinctly contemporary approach to collectible design, one grounded in scarcity, material honesty, and craftsmanship suited to objects meant to outlast the circumstances of their making.
