From 22 to 25 October 2026, International Design presents HOUSE OF DREAMS in collaboration with Movimento Gallery, an immersive exhibition of contemporary art and collectible design during Art Basel Paris Week.
Set within a 180m² Haussmannian apartment directly opposite the Grand Palais, HOUSE OF DREAMS reimagines the legendary Parisian salons as intimate spaces for artistic experimentation, cultural exchange and contemporary collecting.
Inspired by the gatherings of artists, writers, musicians and intellectuals in the 1920s, the exhibition explores how private residences can become places of imagination, conversation and unexpected creative encounters.
THE CURATION
Curated by Manfredi Moretti in collaboration with Movimento Gallery, HOUSE OF DREAMS brings together 16 international artists, designers and studios whose works explore the relationship between art, design, materiality and imagination.
Rather than following a single aesthetic language, the selection creates a dialogue between different creative practices, generations and interpretations of contemporary living.
At the heart of HOUSE OF DREAMS is the belief that collectible design should be experienced within the spaces we inhabit. Sculptural furniture, distinctive materials and contemporary artworks interact with the apartment's architecture.
The exhibition presents each piece not simply as an object, but as an artistic expression carrying the vision, craftsmanship and identity of its creator.
A LIVING ENVIRONMENT
HOUSE OF DREAMS is conceived as a living exhibition, where contemporary art, collectible design and historic architecture interact within the intimacy of a private Parisian residence.
Rather than separating artworks from their surroundings, the exhibition integrates each piece into a residential environment, creating encounters between artistic expression, cultural heritage and everyday life.
As visitors move through the grand salon, dining room and bedrooms, each space reveals a different artistic perspective. Sculptural furniture, contemporary artworks and sound create an evolving dialogue between objects and architecture.
The experience invites visitors to explore the residence at their own pace, discovering how each work transforms the atmosphere and identity of the room it inhabits.
THE PROGRAMME
Throughout HOUSE OF DREAMS, a curated programme of private gatherings and cultural encounters brings together artists, designers, collectors and creative professionals in the heart of Paris.
The exhibition opens with an exclusive Press & VIP Preview on 22 October, followed by three days of artistic discovery, professional visits and private viewings.
From 22 to 25 October, the programme unfolds within an intimate Parisian residence, creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue between contemporary art, collectible design and its visitors.
