Purchase Options and Cancellation Policy – International Design

At International Design, we are committed to delivering an elevated and seamless experience for clients acquiring collectible design furniture, limited-edition objects, memberships, and curated experiences. Due to the highly personalized and exclusive nature of our offerings, the following policy outlines your cancellation and refund rights, in accordance with European law and industry best practices.

1. 24-Hour Withdrawal Window – Physical Product Orders
   Clients have the right to cancel any physical product purchase (including furniture, lighting, collectible design objects) within 24 hours from the time of order confirmation, provided production has not yet commenced.

• After this 24-hour period, or once production has begun (whichever comes first), the order becomes final and non-refundable.

• This withdrawal window is compliant with Article 6 and Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), which exempts custom-made or personalized goods from standard withdrawal rules.

• To cancel within 24 hours, contact: support@internationaldesign.com with your order number and written notice of cancellation.

2. Non-Cancellable Purchase Categories
The following categories are final sale and non-refundable upon purchase due to their custom, time-sensitive, or perishable nature:

• Memberships (Standard & Premium)
  Access to exclusive digital, editorial, networking, and concierge privileges begins immediately post-purchase. No refunds are granted.

• Events & Experiences:
  Tickets and access passes to private events, brand activations, and salons are non-refundable once reserved, due to capacity limitations, scheduling, and supplier arrangements.

• Commissioned Artworks / Bespoke Design:
  Any work made-to-order or personalized (e.g. finishes, sizing, special requests) cannot be canceled or refunded once production starts.

3. Changes to Orders
If you wish to request a change to your order (e.g. shipping address, finish variation, or delivery preferences), please contact us as soon as possible. While we aim to accommodate reasonable requests made within the first 48 hours, changes may not be possible once production or shipping is underway.

4. Delivery Failures or Inaccessibility
Should delivery fail due to inaccurate or inaccessible addresses provided by the client, International Design reserves the right to:

• Charge the client for additional shipping or storage fees;

• Postpone delivery until updated access instructions are provided;

• Decline reimbursement if the goods are returned damaged due to client inaction.

5. Refunds on Exceptional Grounds
In the rare event a refund is approved (e.g. for an error on our part, proven defect, or confirmed shipping damage beyond repair), it will be processed via the same method used at purchase. Refunds typically take 10–14 business days depending on your payment provider.

7. Legal Jurisdiction This Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and applicable European Union directives. It shall not limit any statutory consumer rights applicable in your country of residence.
