The Pasto Silla II is a meditation on transformation, permanence, and the overlooked beauty of the natural world. Rooted in the landscapes of the Argentine Pampas, the piece begins with wild, non-commercial grasses gathered by hand and carefully arranged to create a temporary mold. As molten aluminum fills the void left behind, the grasses disappear, leaving only their textures, gestures, and traces permanently preserved within the metal.
