The Pasto Silla II by RIES is a sculptural designer armchair that celebrates the transformation of natural materials into timeless collectible design. Inspired by the landscapes of the Argentine Pampas, the piece begins with wild, hand-gathered grasses that create a temporary mould before disappearing as molten aluminium permanently captures their delicate textures. The result is an extraordinary chair where nature is preserved within sculptural metal.
