From 30 September to 10 October 2026, that conviction takes physical form for the first time. International Design presents Cosmic Sound Design Experience at Nômade Ibiza, in collaboration with Soleille Gallery, its inaugural exhibition, and the first translation of its curatorial platform from a digital catalogue into a living, physical environment.
Cosmic Sound is not a group show borrowed for the occasion. It is International Design's own proposition, built from the ground up around a category the gallery has identified as underexplored within collectible design: objects dedicated to sound. DJ consoles, speakers, listening systems, vinyl furniture and sound sculptures are presented, for the first time as a coherent curatorial category, as sculptural works where craftsmanship, materiality and performance converge. The exhibition is also, deliberately, a statement of identity, a tribute to International Design's own founders, Manfredi Moretti and Jules Guerard, whose careers in luxury and design have run in parallel with lives spent as DJs, performers and international promoters. Cosmic Sound does not simply exhibit sound design. It stages the founding obsession of the platform itself.

Their combined perspective, Moretti's decade-long research into craftsmanship and collectible design across Milan, New York, Singapore, Dubai, Bangkok, Florence and Munich; Jules's international career spanning luxury communication and more than a decade as a DJ, producer and curator across Paris, London, Ibiza, Berlin and beyond, is what gives Cosmic Sound its specific angle. This is not an exhibition assembled by outside consultants and licensed to a hospitality brand. It is authored.

Studio S.B. and 22F's Speaker Chair, developed entirely remotely between Tel Aviv and Kyiv, embeds vintage Soviet-era drivers into a chair whose plywood grain, knots and construction-yellow finish are deliberate rather than concealed, form, finish and material left in the open. Francesco Maria Messina reinterprets a lamp as a speaker, merging light and sound into a single object that no longer only illuminates a room but actively shapes what is heard in it. Arielle Assouline-Lichten's Slash Objects brings a DJ console in polished steel and brass, her signature "glam minimalism" applied to audio design for the first time. YONT translates Brutalist architectural geometry into sound furniture. Andrea Mancuso, Giorgio Di Salvo for Visionnaire, Emily Thurman, Sara Ricciardi, Bright by Claudio Caciolli and Olivia Steele, several presented in direct collaboration with Soleille Gallery, extend the roster into installation, neon, immersive audiovisual work and sculptural bell-sound pieces drawing on ancestral form.

It curated a specific argument: that sound-driven collectible design deserves the connoisseurship the platform already applies to furniture and sculpture, and that the strongest way to prove it is to place a plywood speaker-chair from Kyiv beside a Vismara-engineered console beside a neon installation by an internationally recognised light artist, and let the coherence of the argument, not a shared aesthetic, hold the room together.

International Design's choice of Nômade Temple Ibiza was deliberate. Nômade is conceived as more than a hospitality destination; its identity is built around cultural programming, artistic expression, wellbeing and shared experience, conditions International Design identified as the natural setting for Cosmic Sound, where collectible design can exist in direct dialogue with architecture, music, gastronomy and the surrounding landscape.
Rather than placing the exhibition within a conventional gallery environment, International Design has designed Cosmic Sound to unfold throughout the property. The central temple-like architecture becomes the exhibition's main stage, its terraces hosting DJ consoles, sound installations and daytime activations along a signature blue line guiding visitors through the space. Below, Nômade's Sound Temple becomes an immersive world of light and sound. The entrance itself is curated by International Design together with Soleille Gallery around the Morphological Ways of Dutch designer Nick Valentijn, whose copper, brass, wood and stone sculptural furniture sets the tone before visitors encounter the wider exhibition, an introduction conceived not as a threshold to pass through, but as a statement of what International Design means by collectible design: authorship, material research, craftsmanship and experimentation transforming functional objects into cultural artefacts.

Each moment is designed by International Design and Soleille Gallery to give collectors, cultural leaders, artists, press and the Ibiza community distinct reasons to return across the residency, from private collector moments to larger cultural gatherings, every experience folding back into the wider Cosmic Sound narrative that International Design has authored from the outset.
